Who we are
We built this because we’ve been there.
James and Jack—two everyday Christians—spent years struggling to consistently read their scriptures. They wanted to draw closer to God, but distractions were constant, and the traditional ways of studying often felt overwhelming or isolating.
They craved something different. Something that made scripture feel alive. Something that made it easier to stay consistent and actually enjoy the journey.
That’s how Hooked on Scriptures was born.
It wasn’t created by scholars or theologians—it was built by two guys who knew the struggle and wanted a better way. What started as a simple idea has become a growing movement to help others not just read the Word, but truly encounter it—through games, community, and a daily dose of joy in God’s truth.
